For centuries cast iron has been used in cookware, due to its resilience, its ability to withstand high temperatures, and its superior heat-retention properties.
These dishes from Commichef Provencale are made from heavy duty cast iron, with a three layer enamel finish. Each set contains one 23cm round casserole and one 26cm frying pan. The casserole is ideal for cooking delicious meals such as flavoursome stews, casseroles, and even roasts for all the family or groups of friends, while the frying pan is perfect for searing meat, and frying vegetables with ease.
The cast iron construction allows you to cook at lower temperatures, resulting in tender, tasty dishes, and the enamel finish is hygienic and easy to clean. Suitable for use on all hobs, including induction, each dish can also be used under the grill and in the oven at temperatures up to 200°C, and is dishwasher safe.
Commichef Provencale dishes are available in a choice of flame red, azure blue, granite grey, or deep orange. Both dishes will be supplied in the same colour.
